I’ve now had a slight re-design of my mini-zine packaging for this Cat Ladies zine. Instead of being contained in a small envelope they now have simpler belly bands.
But once a year the cat ladies of Czechoslovakia embark on the sixty-mile walk to the City of Prague to buy cat food.
The locals await the ladies visit with great apprehension and fear, the cat ladies tend to keep to themselves, but the locals still keep their distance just in case.
The residents of Prague try to keep their cats locked up inside but it makes little difference; the stench of the ladies is simply irresistible to felines and they follow the ladies back to the campsite.
No outsider has ever visited the ladies site, however one can only imagine the amount of cats they must have up there.
The cat ladies and their ancestors have been making this pilgrimage for many, many years, it is part of the Czechoslovakian history and folklore.
Locals are very weary of the ladies, they are mysterious looking, have a strong odour and are completely mute. However, it is just assumed that they are crazy cat ladies, they love cats and cats love them.
However, they hide a terrifying secret that not even the locals could imagine.

I’ve been doing bikram yoga lately so have been painting lots of yoga people. This is developed from the photoshop mock-up I posted yesterday. I sometimes find it useful to create the image in photoshop with a tablet first to get an idea of colour and composition before actually creating the image on paper.
Massive cat drawing. Oil stick on paper. SOLD
THE PROBLEM WITH DOGGING.
I watched some of this documentary on C4 last night. It was a bit of a let down as far as documentaries go, but it gave me some ideas for these pictures.
I’m doing another print run of my zines. They are available to pre-order over on my etsy shop.
