I’ve been drawing loads of pyramids and bulldozers recently after reading about the Mayan pyramid that got knocked down.
I’ve been horribly lazy on the illustration front over the past few months (thanks to a new full-time job) I’ve been doing the odd drawing here and there, but have failed miserably at starting a new project. Any illustrators out there, how do you juggle full-time work and your art?
I haven’t updated my blog in what feels like an absolute age so here is a little sketchbook page scan to wet the dry spell.

Sketchbook pages of ideas for illustrations - planning for The Calendar Project competition.
I never normally work with colour so this is a bit of an excuse to force myself to think not just in greys - the illustration has to be formatted for printing on a Risograph printer, which means there will be three plates, each a different colour. Teal, Bright Red and Yellow, it is very similar to screen printing in that the colours can overlap to produce new colours and tones.
